It was a few minutes past noon when two vehicles collided at a Grass Valley intersection. The two vehicles approached the intersection of Woodside Lane and Allison Ranch Road at the same time, according to initial reports. What caused the vehicles to enter the intersection at the exact same time, is still under investigation. However, it is known that the two vehicles collided in the intersection, causing debris to be tossed in every direction.

They began checking both vehicles to determine if anyone needed medical attention and found one person with significant injuries. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they evaluated the victim before loading them into an ambulance and taking them to a local hospital to receive treatment for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers remained at the scene, redirecting traffic away from the accident as well as investigating the scene. They have resolved to learn what caused this accident and who was at fault. Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles and motorists had to wait as debris was removed from the intersection.
