      One Injured In Stockton Crash On SR-4

      Stockton, CA (June 27, 2024) A two-vehicle collision near the Farmington Area of Stockton left one person injured on Wednesday, June 26th. The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on State Route Highway 4, at the Milton Road crossing.

      A white Toyota Prius and a gray Tesla were both heading along State Route 4 in Stockton on Wednesday, June 26th. For reasons that are still unknown, the two vehicles collided. The impact sent one of the vehicles slamming into a power pole, officers reported. The pole fell over and landed on the vehicle and blocked the roadway. Debris and glass covered the ground at the scene and motorists were forced to take alternate routes or sit and wait.

      The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found The two vehicles and the power pole blocking the roadway. They went to the vehicles in an attempt to find anyone in need of medical attention, according to reports. They found one person who had sustained injuries in the accident. Paramedics at the scene evaluated the victim and determined that the injuries were non-life-threatening, but the victim was in a state of shock. It is unknown if the patient was taken to a local hospital or treated at the scene.

      Investigators with the CHP worked to gather evidence at the scene and take statements from witnesses. The cause of the collision is still unknown but officers are diligently working to figure out what caused this accident in Stockton. Once the investigation at the scene ended, tow trucks arrived to remove the damaged vehicles and crews began cleaning the glass and debris from the roadway. Crews also arrived to deal with the fallen power pole, officers reported.
