(West Desert Inn Road, Nevada) A 2105 Nissan Versa was heading toward the 2020 Hyundai Tucson westbound resulting in a fatal collision.

The first collision impacted a Toyota Tundra that stopped and attempted to exit a parking lot. The driver of the Toyota Tundra was identified as a 77 year old. 

The Hyundai Tucson involved a 31-year old woman driver and a 4-year old passenger police confirmed. The two victims were sent to UMC hospital for their minor injuries.

As for the Nissan driver, they suffered moderate injuries. The passenger of the vehicle died. Both of them were confirmed to be in their 70s.

This matter is still under investigation under LVMD Collision Investigation Section.

This collision involves a driver in their 70s, which is likely that the LVMD Collision Investigators may want to view NAC 483.350.  This states the medical-related restrictions that drivers are required to add onto their license. Investigators may want to see if a medical condition was already stated in the driver’s license.
