North Hollywood, CA (August 28, 2024) On Sunday, August 25, a person was tragically killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the 101 Freeway in North Hollywood.
The crash happened around 4:55 a.m. on the northbound side of the road next to the Vineland Avenue offramp.
Paramedics and officers came to the scene, but Los Angeles Fire Department reported that no one was taken to the hospital. It appears that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation. Reports state that a dark-colored sedan struck a center median, initiating the multi-vehicle pileup. It’s unclear how many cars were involved.
