(Huntington Beach, CA) Two homes received significant damage from a Newland Street crash in Huntington Beach.

On Friday, July 25, a little after 10:30 p.m., the Newland Street crash occurred. According to Huntington Beach police, it happened in the residential area of Newland Street.

When police investigated, they learned a car struck two homes, causing extensive damage. The driver and an 18-year-old passenger required transportation to a nearby hospital. Investigators believe the teen driver lost control of their vehicle while driving at a high rate of speed, causing the Newland Street crash. Police cited the teenage driver for driving without a license as well as reckless driving resulting in property damage.
