Hollister, CA (August 18, 2023) – Multiple people were injured on Thursday, August 17th, after a truck crash at McDonald’s in Hollister, CA. The crash occurred around 12:37 p.m. at the McDonalds on Airline Highway.
Five people sustained injuries as a result of the collision, three inside the restaurant and two from inside the truck. All victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.
According to the driver of the truck, he had believed that he had parked. Instead the vehicle continued to move, crashing into the establishment.
The police are actively investigating the truck crash at McDonalds, they do not believe that driver impairment was a factor in the accident.
