Upland, CA (September 25, 2024) Several vehicles were involved in a collision in Upland on Wednesday morning, September 25th, 2024. The accident took place on Intestate 210, not far from Mountain Avenue, and left one person with serious injuries.
It was approximately 8:18 on Wednesday morning as vehicles traveled along the eastbound 210 Freeway in Upland. A black Ford Bronco Sport SUV, a gray Nissan sedan, a white Lexus and another vehicle suddenly collided, according to reports. The impact forced the Nissan to spin around and it came to a stop facing the wrong direction in the HOV lane. The Bronco came to a stop in the center divide of the freeway, officers reported. The Lexus and the fourth vehicle involved, both came to a stop in the middle of the freeway, blocking the fast lane.
The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene within minutes and found the four damaged vehicles in different locations on the freeway. They hurried to the vehicles, ready to offer medical care to anyone in need. They found one person with serious injuries, reports indicated. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital, via ambulance, to receive treatment.

Officers gathered evidence at the scene and took statements. They are working to piece together what caused these four vehicles to collide on the eastbound 210 Freeway in Upland.
