Glendale, CA (August 27, 2023) A Metrolink train collided with a car on Saturday evening in Glendale, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Reports of the collision came in around 5:44 p.m. close to the 5400 block of West San Fernando Road.
Authorities arrived to find a Metrolink train and a vehicle had crashed near Doran Street and San Fernando Road. The Los Angeles Fire Department said that location was near the border of Los Angeles and Glendale.

The train had apparently performed and emergency stop before colliding with the vehicle. The Los Angeles Fire Department said that there were approximately 95 passengers, an engineer, and a conductor onboard the Metrolink four-car passenger train. No injuries were reported at the time of the crash.
The driver of the vehicle that collided with the train was uninjured and found walking around the crash site.
The accident is still under investigation.
