Holt, CA (October 16, 2024) A three-vehicle collision in Holt involving a head-on crash closed down Highway 4 on Oct. 15.
California Highway Patrol reports that the crash happened at about 4:15 p.m. A pickup truck was driving west on Highway 4 near Bacon Island Road when they lost control of their vehicle, causing it to side-swipe a Honda. The truck then crashed head-on with a Toyota.
The driver of the Honda sustained major injuries. It’s unclear at this time if any other injuries were reported or if impairment was a factor in this collision.
