A head-on collision on Stony Point Road and Pepper Road took place on Thursday, August 10 in Sonoma County, causing injury and shutting down traffic. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 12:42 a.m. in the Penngrove area.
Involved in the collision were a full-size white GMC pick-up truck and a grey SUV of unknown make. For unknown reasons the driver of the grey SUV veered into out of their lane and into the oncoming lane and collided with the pick-up.

Stony Point road was blocked in both directions for a time, until tow trucks could arrive to move the vehicles.
