San Jose, CA (July 20, 2023) San Jose firefighters and Hazmat teams were called to the scene of an accident this morning around 8:30 at Muwekma Ohlone Middle School. A driver lost control and crashed into the middle school’s pool chemical storage building.

There are safety concerns due to the chemicals involved. Crews were quick to help with fire and securing the chemicals. Police officers said that the driver of the vehicle was injured but didn’t appear to suffer from any severe injuries. He should make a full recovery.
