Big Bear Lake, CA (January 22, 2024) A horrible collision in Big Bear Lake took the life of 18-year old Cerine N. Garcia and left 3 others seriously injured. This fatal 2-vehicle crash happened on January 16th on Big Bear Boulevard in Big Bear Lake, authorities said.
Garcia, a Victorville resident, was riding in the passenger seat of a Lexus as they drove along Big Bear Boulevard. A Nissan was driving towards them and, according to reports, the two vehicles collided, head-on, at approximately 6:13 p.m.
Emergency personnel from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrived to find two badly damaged vehicles and 4 victims. Paramedics called for a medical helicopter to hurry to the scene. The driver of the Lexus sustained serious injuries and was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center to receive treatment.
The two people occupying the Nissan also sustained injuries and were transported, via ambulance, to Bear Valley Community Hospital for treatment.

Cerine N. Garcia was found unresponsive in the passenger seat of the Lexus. There was nothing that could have been done and authorities regrettably pronounced Garcia dead at the scene.
