    Child Among 6 Injured In East Las Vegas Collision

    Las Vegas, NV (August 8, 2024) A two-vehicle collision injured 6 people, including a child, in Las Vegas on Wednesday, August 7th. Initial reports indicated that the accident took place right around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Andover Road and Tropincana Avenue. The accident left the child with life-threatening injuries, officers reported.

    It was right around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7th, as two vehicles approached the intersection of Andover Road and Tropicana Avenue. For reasons that remain a mystery, the two vehicles collided at the intersection. The sound of metal colliding and tires squealing filled the air. Following the impact, the occupants of the two vehicles had sustained minor to moderate injuries, with the exception of one child who was critically injured, reports indicated.

    Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found the two vehicles in the middle of the intersection with major damage. Debris and glass littered the roadway in every direction and officers quickly went to the vehicles. They checked each person to see if anyone had been injured. They found several with injuries, but one passenger, a child, had sustained life-threatening injuries, officers reported. The child was rushed to a local hospital to receive treatment for critical injuries. Five others were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the drivers only received minor injuries in the accident and denied medical treatment, officers said.

    Officers began investigating the scene and are determined to figure out what happened to cause this horrible Collision in Las Vegas. They are also determined to discover who was at fault. Tow trucks had to come to the scene and remove both of the damaged vehicles from the intersection and crews worked diligently to remove the glass and debris from the roadway.
