Hollywood, CA (September 15, 2023) A man was accused of robbing a Toyota dealership, crashing through gates and fences, and then leading authorities on a high-speed chase through Hollywood. He was arrested on Friday morning following the excitement.
It all began around 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023, on Hollywood Boulevard. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call about a break-in at an auto dealership. Upon arrival, officers encouraged the suspect to leave the dealership and come with them.

The suspect grabbed a set of keys from the dealership’s lock box and hurried into a while sedan on the lot. Video surveillance shows the suspect speeding through and chainlink fence before ramming a security gate and speeding away.
Of course, this started a pursuit. Officers attempted to stop the suspect with a spike strip but it didn’t work. The suspect eventually stopped at a Lamborghini dealership in Beverly Hills where he was finally taken into custody around 2:00 a.m.
