Fresno, CA (August 23, 2023) A car slammed into a parked pickup in Fresno early Wednesday morning. The impact was so great that it flipped over the car and left it sitting upside down, according to Fresno Police.

The crash happened near McKinley Avenue and Dearing Avenue in Fresno. Police said that the white sedan was driving at a high enough speed that when it hit the parked pickup it pushed the pickup up and onto another car that was parked in front of it.
The pickup was badly damaged in the collision which also forced the white sedan to flip over. It laid upside down in the middle of the street as the driver climbed out and ran away on foot. Officers have blocked off streets and are actively looking for the driver.
