In Colorado Code 13-21-203 Law gives surviving families of the deceased victim a right to sue for wrongful death. The family can also earn compensation for the grief, and emotional damages they’ve faced. If the deceased victim of the 1-70 Colorado crash was not at fault then his or her family can sue the opponent that caused the collision for the wrongful death.

In addition, Colorado Code 13-21-202 gives survivors the entitlement to receive compensation for damages caused by someone else’s wrongful doing. In this incident, those who were taken to the hospital and were not at fault as well can seek compensation for their injuries.
