Oakdale, CA (August 17th, 2023) – Two people, including Brian Valenzuela, were majorly injured on Monday, August 17th, in a DUI crash on Highway 108 in Oakdale, CA. The collision took place at approximately 9:20 p.m. at Atlas Road.
At the time of the incident 19 year-old Brian Valenzuela was driving a Ford Mustang westbound at more than 100 mph when 38 year-old Paul Skifter attempted to turn left onto Atlas Road.

Valenzuela attempted to swerve, but the two vehicles still collided. Both drivers suffered major injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals. Skifter was later arrested for DUI.
The California Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation.
