Vacaville, CA (July 30, 2024) A collision occurred on the 505 Freeway in Vacaville on Sunday afternoon, July 28th, leaving at least one person with injuries. It occurred near Vaca Valley Parkway on the northbound side of the freeway, officers reported.

The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found a portion of the northbound freeway blocked by the accident. They hurried to see if anyone had been hurt and found at least one person with injuries. Officers began redirecting traffic away from the scene, towards Orange Drive, according to reports.
A tow truck was called to remove at least one damaged vehicles from the freeway in Vacaville and officers thoroughly investigated the scene. They are determined to figure out not only what caused this accident on the 505 Freeway, but also, who was at fault.
