NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 23, 2023) – Authorities have identified Andrew Belcher as the man who was hit and killed by a vehicle while riding a scooter in the North Hollywood area.

Andrew Belcher, 30, was found injured at around 12:50 a.m. Wednesday on Vineland Avenue near Riverside Drive. According to the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County coroner’s office, he died at the scene. His city of residence was not known.
The police reported that Belcher was going south in the bike lane on Vineland where he was hit behind by a southbound vehicle.
The motorist stayed at the scene, and the crash was under investigation according to the police.
