The Riverside Fire Departmen
Santa Maria Police Department responded to the call at Railroad and Taylor. They found 3 injured people once on the scene, including one person who had been thrown from one of the vehicles. The Santa Maria Fire Department and the AMR responded to the call as well. All 3 people were taken to local hospitals to received treatment for injuries they sustained in the crash.
The SMPD Traffic Unit is investigating the collision and said they want to use this opportunity to remind people to wear their seat belts.
