Santa Barbara County, CA (August 22, 2023) 2 people were injured on Monday afternoon in a rollover crash on Highway 1 in Santa Barbara County. The Santa Barbara County Fire Department said the crash was reported around 1:41 p.m., near Firefighter Road.

Authorities reported that the crash wasn’t far from the Vandenberg Space Force Base. Authorities still aren’t certain what exactly happened, but the car rolled before landing upright again in a damaged heap. Two women were inside the vehicle and both were injured. An AMR ambulance took the women to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria.
One of the woman sustained moderate injuries while the other only suffered from minor injuries, according to County Fire officials.
