PINON HILLS, CA (AUGUST 29, 2023): A head-on crash in Pinon Hills left one person hospitalized on Monday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 11:14 a.m. in front of Pinon Hills Elementary School. Two vehicles collided head-on, with one reportedly striking an embankment during the collision.

Paramedics responded to the scene and treated at least one person for injuries. They were later transported to an area hospital. Their condition remains unknown.
