Modesto, CA (October 3, 2023) A man was killed and two others, identified as Jaren Lomeli and Jordan Hill, were injured after an off-road vehicle flipped on Chicago Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on September 30th.
A 15-year-old boy was driving the 2022 Can-Am off-road vehicle west on Chicago Avenue. He attempted a U-turn and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.

One of the passengers, identified only as a 20-year-old man from Modesto, was killed in the accident.
Two other passengers, a 21-year-old Lomeli and 19-year-old Hill, were injured in the crash. Hill was taken to Doctors Medical Center for treatment of injuries he sustained. Lomeli was treated at the scene and released.
The 15-year-old driver was uninjured in the collision. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in this accident.
