Los Angeles, CA (April 30, 2024) – Shaking the tranquility of Los Angeles, a tragic collision between a Metro E Line train and a USC Transportation bus in the Exposition Park area today, April 30th, led to 18 individuals being hurried to hospitals, with around three dozen others receiving treatment for minor injuries at the scene.

The incident unfolded shortly before noon in the 900 block of West Exposition Boulevard, adjacent to the USC campus, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

Among the injured, two individuals, believed to have been aboard the bus, were transported to hospitals in serious condition, while another 16 patients were taken to hospitals in fair condition. Additionally, 37 others received on-site treatment and were subsequently released, as confirmed by fire officials. Fortunately, no children were reported among the injured.
