San Diego, CA (September 23, 2024) A man was tragically killed on Saturday, September 21 while riding a bicycle in San Diego. The crash occurred in the 3100 block of Canon Street shortly before 2:40 p.m.
A 92-year-old woman was attempting a left turn onto Evergreen Street and crossed into the path of the 70-year-old bicyclist, who then slammed into the rear door of the vehicle on the right side.
Paramedics rushed the bicyclist to the hospital, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The motorist involved in the accident did not sustain injuries.
