Brentwood, CA (October 15, 2023) A 12-year-old boy was struck and injured by a vehicle near a major intersection in Brentwood on Wednesday, October 11th. According to police officers, the accident occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. on O’Hara Avenue at the Lone Tree Way intersection.

The boy was riding his bike north on O’Hara when he was hit by a car, going west, while crossing Lone Tree. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found the boy, injured, on the ground. An air ambulance was called and the boy was taken to a local hospital, according to police.
Officers said the boy is expected to make a full recovery. They are still investigating this collision, but believe drugs and alcohol are not factors.
