The California Highway Patrol was the first to arrive at the scene and found the bicyclist on the ground. They rushed to the rider’s side and discovered they had serious injuries from the accident. Officers were ready to call paramedics, but reports indicated that the bicyclist was taken to a nearby hospital by a private vehicle. Officers began investigating the scene and are working to determine what exactly happened at that Anderson intersection, as well as who was at fault.
