RICHARDSON GROVE, CA (SEPTEMBER 21, 2023): A bicyclist is dead following an accident on Highway 101 Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to a reported bicyclist traffic collision on the Highway just south of Richardson Grove at around 1:34 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that a bicyclist has been struck by a vehicle. Another bicyclist was reported to be attempting CPR on the victim. Unfortunately, the injured bicyclist was reported dead at the scene.

The nature of this collision has not yet been made available. The identity of the bicyclist also remains confidential. The CHP continues to investigate the cause of this fatal bicycle accident on Highway 101.
