San Diego, CA (July 12, 2024) An accident occurred this morning in Chula Vista, prompting closures of Telegraph Canyon Road between Heritage Road and Medical Center. Paseo Ladera between Sesame Street and Givens Street was also closed. The closures were announced around 6:15 a.m. after the crash occurred early this morning. Las Vegas, NV (July 12, 2024) A tragic accident occurred this morning between a motorcycle and a semi-truck. It happened in the southwest valley of Las Vegas. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that the accident happened on Sunset Road and Jones Boulevard. At about 5:40 a.m., for unknown reasons, the motorcycle and the semi-truck collided. Van Nuys, CA (July 12, 2024) A man tragically died after being struck by a vehicle on June 30 in Van Nuys. The man, described as being between 60 and 70, was walking on Sepulveda Boulevard and crossing the street when a driver struck him around 8:55 p.m. The vehicle, which was traveling southbound, hit the man near Haynes Street and continued driving. CHP received word of an accident around 1:30 a.m., arriving to the scene to see a car surrounded in smoke and on fire.
