Folsom, CA (October 8, 2024) A FedEx truck crashed into four vehicles Sunday afternoon, sending multiple people to the hospital. At about 12:09 p.m., Folsom Police Department was dispatched to Lake Natoma Crossing Bridge to tend to a multiple-vehicle crash. Paramedics transported five people to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Irvine, CA (October 8, 2024) Two young kids and three adults were hospitalized after a DUI wrong-way crash on October 6 on the 73 Toll Road. Around midnight, a Toyota Camry struck a Lincoln driving south near Campus Drive. Two young children and their mother were hospitalized with “significant” injuries. The driver and passenger in the Lincoln were also hospitalized. The wrong-way driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Monterey County, CA (October 8, 2024) An 81-year-old named Arthur Loring Schoenstadt of Salinas was tragically killed in a wrong-way DUI crash on Sunday around 5:05 p.m. CHP reported that Schoenstadt was in a grey Toyota heading north on Reservation Road when a white Acura heading south veered into the northbound lane. The vehicles crashed head-on, and Schoenstadt was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The Acura driver was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Santa Rosa, CA (October 8, 2024) A man caused multiple road-rage crashes on Saturday around 2 p.m., one of which led to the tragic death of a mother of a 3-year-old and left multiple people injured. California Highway Patrol reported that a driver in a Mazda SUV intentionally rammed a Volkswagen on Stony Point Road. This pushed the car into oncoming traffic, where a Mercedes hit it. Cabazon, CA (October 4, 2024) A 23-year-old named Carlie Membrino was tragically killed in a terrible accident on Thursday in Cabazon. It happened at about 9:30 p.m. CHP reports that they noticed a motorist in a Ford Mustang driving the wrong way on Seminole near Apache Trail. They attempted a traffic stop, but a pursuit ensued instead. A roughly mile-long chase took place at speeds of about 90-95 mph. Santa Cruz, CA (October 4, 2024) A woman named Helen Hines was tragically killed when she was struck by an e-Bike while walking on Friday morning. An 80-year-old man was reportedly riding an Aventon Pace 500 electric bicycle at an unknown speed on the right shoulder of Opal Cliff Drive. For reasons unknown at this time, he ran into Hines as she was walking east of him at around 5:50 a.m. Hines was airlifted to Valley Medical Center, but sadly, the 82-year-old succumbed to her injuries. Berkeley, CA (October 4, 2024) A 69-year-old man was tragically killed when he was pinned beneath a vehicle early Wednesday near Aquatic Park. Authorities were alerted about a person who appeared to be pinned underneath a car near a roundabout. Police arrived around 4:32 a.m. and reported that the driver had run over the victim. The two were driving in Upland and approached the intersection of Euclid Ave. and 15th Street. The woman proceeded through the intersection when suddenly, a speeding driver crashed into her car. Tulare, CA (October 3, 2024) A horrible collision occurred on Monday that left Jessie Guerrero injured. Even worse, a 1-month-old baby, presumed to be Guerrero’s, was killed in the accident. Reports state that a 24-year-old man was driving west on Highway 198 when he attempted to pass the vehicle ahead of him. Now in the opposite lane, he collided head-on with a Freightliner truck.
