CHP reports that around 4:30 p.m., they received word about a single-vehicle crash on the 15 Freeway near mile marker 154. Arkeshia Holmes was reportedly the passenger in a vehicle that was traveling on Interstate 10 that day. It’s unclear at this time who the driver of the vehicle was. For unknown reasons, as the vehicle was nearing the Monterey Avenue exit, the driver rear-ended a semi-truck. Las Vegas, NV (October 11, 2024) A driver going over 140 mph caused a devastating crash on Tuesday around 9:40 p.m. Tragically, the motorist and another driver were killed in the collision. Witnesses said a driver in a Dodge Challenger was speeding northbound on Torrey Pines and ran through a stop sign, slamming into a Mercedes-Benz driven by Xiang He. The e-biker was heading southbound across E. Harmon from the north side of the road. The Mercedes Benz was traveling at a high rate of speed and struck the 26-year-old, projecting him into the air. The Kia was traveling westbound on West Ann Road approaching Old Grove Way. The man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on West Ann when the Kia made a left turn into his travel path. The young man was riding a 2023 Suzuki DRZ400 motorcycle north on Fort Apache Road and was approaching the intersection.
