(Lemon Grove, CA) Cousins Nadia Charles and Joseph Saint Juste Jr. were tragically killed in Lemon Grove on January 1. Both were only 20 years old.
The two were standing on the corner of Buena Vista Avenue and Broadway around 11:15 a.m. when an Acura sedan struck a Toyota in the intersection. The Acura then veered onto the roadside and collided with the cousins. Officials indicated that speeding was a factor.
Saint Juste Jr. was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Charles was rushed to a hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries there.
