(Perris, CA) A 44-year-old man named Kenneth Woods from Moreno Valley was tragically killed while walking in a Perris intersection on December 23.
Officers responded to the scene at Ramona Expressway and North Perris Boulevard a little after 6:30 p.m. Paramedics found Woods with major injuries and rushed him to a Riverside hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries.
Reports say Woods was struck by a Mercedes SUV that was driving eastbound on Ramona Expressway. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, and police determined that impaired driving was not a factor.
