Woodland Hills, CA (November 21, 2024) A woman named Candy La Torre Zapata, 39, was tragically killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday.
Zapata was found underneath one of the two BMWs involved in the crash. Both vehicles were found with significant damage on the back ends, but reports have not yet made clear what caused the collision, which happened on the 101 Freeway near the Winnetka exit.
The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner on Wednesday. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
