Bellflower, CA (October 21, 2024) A person was killed on Oct. 20 around 11 p.m. on the 91 freeway in Bellflower.
The victim was reportedly changing a tire on their vehicle, and the tire was facing the road. Another vehicle struck the person working on their car and fled the scene without providing aid.
Paramedics tragically reported the victim dead at the scene. Officials encourage anyone who might have information about the motorist involved to call the California Highway Patrol. An investigation is ongoing.
Update: The victim has been identified as Loren Carroll, a 25-year-old woman.
