Baker, CA (October 14, 2024) Three people, including a 9-year-old girl, were killed in a devastating car crash near Baker on Saturday.
CHP reports that around 4:30 p.m., they received word about a single-vehicle crash on the 15 Freeway near mile marker 154. An SUV was heading north when for unknown reasons, the driver swerved to the left and crashed into the center median. The vehicle continued before striking a concrete embankment.
Paramedics pronounced all three people who were in the car dead at the scene: A 9-year-old girl, a 56-year-old woman, and a 43-year-old woman. It’s unclear at this time who the driver was.
