Long Beach, CA (September 30, 2024) Tragedy struck the community of Long Beach on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, when two motorcycles collided. The collision claimed the life of 51-year-old Devon Tageson, according to reports. It happened just before midnight on Artesia Boulevard, not far from Long Beach Boulevard.

According to reports, a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was riding along Artesia Boulevard with a 2004 Harley-Davidson riding alongside it. The two motorcycles were headed east when suddenly, they collided. Tageson was riding the 2004 Harley and lost control. He slammed into a parked car and was thrown from the motorcycle.

The Long Beach Police Department arrived at the scene and found both riders on the ground. They hurried to them, ready to administer life-saving treatment. They found Tageson unresponsive and, sadly, pronounced him dead at the scene. The other motorcyclist was transported to a hospital in the area for treatment for unknown injuries.
