The big rig tipped and rolled off the freeway before finally coming to a stop on its side. The diesel truck began leaking fuel onto the freeway, following the collision. The minivan came to a stop in the middle of the roadway with major damage, reports indicated.

The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the leaking diesel truck, damaged minivan and the big rig on its side between the city streets and off-ramp. They quickly went to the vehicles to see if anyone involved was in need of medical attention. They found one person with significant injuries.
