Sparks, NV (September 3, 2024) A pedestrian remains in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday evening, August 31st, in Sparks. The victim was struck at the intersection of F Street and Rock Boulevard at approximately 8:00 p.m.
It was a quiet summer, Saturday evening in the city of Sparks. A pedestrian was walking along Rock Boulevard as vehicles passed on the road. Suddenly, at the intersection of F Street, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The force knocked the pedestrian to the ground. The vehicle immediately stopped and called 911, reports indicated. The driver and the passengers inside the vehicle all remained at the scene following this accident.

Sparks Fire and REMSA arrived at the scene, along with officers from the Sparks Police Department. They found the pedestrian on the ground with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics rushed to the victims side and began administering medical care. The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
