North Hollywood, CA (August 27, 2024) 26-year-old Analee Rodriguez lost her life on Sunday morning, August 25th, 2024. The fatal accident occurred just before 5:00 a.m. on the Hollywood (101) Freeway. The accident caused a multi-vehicle collision on the northbound freeway, according to reports.
It was very early in the morning on Sunday, August 25th, as 26-year-old Analee Rodriguez walked along the Hollywood (101) Freeway in North Hollywood. At approximately 4:55 a.m., a dark-colored vehicle lost control and hit the center median. This triggered a multi-vehicle collision near the Vineland Avenue off-ramp, officers reported. Somehow, during all the chaos, Rodriguez was struck by one of the vehicles.

The chaos eventually died down, leaving the roadway covered in damaged vehicles, and blocking traffic. When emergency personnel arrived, they found the pedestrian on the ground, unresponsive. First responders did everything they could to save the woman, but her injuries were too severe. With heavy hearts, they pronounced Rodriguez dead at the scene. Reports indicated that officers requested a coroner from the medical examiner’s office right around 5:22 a.m.
No other injuries were reported in this multi-vehicle accident, but it took crews a while to move the damaged vehicles from the roadway and clean up the mess left behind.
