Los Angeles, CA (July 19, 2024) A woman was killed today as she was walking in the roadway in the Florence-Graham neighborhood.
The collision occurred at Central Avenue and 82nd Street.
LAPD was called to the scene around 12:30 a.m. Witnesses told officers that a dark SUV slammed into the woman.
The driver of the SUV did not remain at the scene. As of the latest reports, LAPD is still searching for them.
Los Angeles Fire Department arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Her identity has not been made available, but she was reportedly 41 years old.
