Los Angeles, CA (July 16, 2024)
Early this morning, a tragic crash occurred in downtown Los Angeles that involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. Los Angeles Police Department was dispatched to Fourth Street around 3:30 a.m. There, they found a man who had been struck and killed by a car while walking near Wall Street.
Unfortunately, whoever the driver was that hit the man fled the scene, and authorities have still not found them. They also do not have a vehicle description.
The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Joseph Benson.
Anyone with any information about this terrible crash is encouraged to contact LAPD as soon as possible.
