Pomona, CA (July 3, 2024)
A frightening car crash occurred early this morning. It happened at about 5:30 a.m., and it took place on the San Bernardino Freeway, also known as the 10.
A person was driving in the Pomona area near Kellogg Drive. California Highway Patrol received alerts about an accident and headed to the scene to find this person had been killed. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Lots of details are still unknown. We don’t know if the person was a driver or a passenger, how many cars were involved in the collision, who was at fault, or if anyone else was injured. California Highway Patrol rerouted traffic around the accident scene so they could investigate. We are waiting to hear more reports about the circumstances of this crash.
Update: The victim of the crash has been identified as 29-year-old Gabriel Cruz-Rincon.
