Las Vegas, NV (June 24, 2024) Traffic on the US-95 in Las Vegas suddenly came to a halt when several vehicles collided near Boulder Highway on Saturday, June 22nd. It was approximately 3;39 p.m. when, for reasons still unknown, the vehicles collided, leaving several with injuries, reports indicated.

Traffic on the US-95 in Las Vegas traveled along at a steady pace on Saturday afternoon, June 22nd. Suddenly, a chain reaction collision occurred involving several vehicles, according to reports. The collision blocked most of the US-95 highway, causing the once steady flow of traffic to come to a stand still. Witnesses described the collision as chaotic, according to Las Vegas traffic reports.

Officers arrived at the scene and found several vehicles with damage, stopped in the middle of the highway. They began going from vehicle to vehicle to see who was injured and needed help. Reports indicated that officers discovered several people with injuries following this collision. They are not exactly sure what happened but it seems that there was an initial collision that led to other vehicles hitting the first two vehicles that collided.

Paramedics at he scene took several people to local hospitals to receive treatment for injuries. At this time, it is unknown how many were injured or how severe the injuries were. Fire fighters had to extract more than one victim from the wreckage, officers reported. The word chaotic doesn’t do it justice, honestly.

Officers began gathering evidence at the scene and are working to understand just what happened on US-95 that afternoon. They are also determined to figure out who is at fault for this multi-vehicle accident in Las Vegas. Tow trucks removed several damaged vehicles from the scene following the initial investigation and crews worked for hours to remove glass and debris from the highway.
