Riverside, CA (June 12, 2024) Residents of Riverside were shocked as news of a chaotic scene played out in their community. A stolen car led officers on a chase on the 60 West Freeway on Saturday evening before crashing into another vehicle at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Harrison Avenue. The collision occurred right around 6:15 p.m. and left and innocent driver with injuries, officers reported.

It was a typical day in Riverside when officers received a call about a stolen vehicle on Saturday, June 8th. The officers located the stolen vehicle and attempted to pull it over, but instead of stopping, the vehicle fled. The driver of the vehicle got on the 60 West Freeway and headed towards Riverside. It sped through the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Harrison Street and slammed into a Toyota SUV.
