Traffic along Fair Oaks Boulevard in Carmichael was moving steadily on Monday afternoon. A black Jeep, a motorcycle and a silver vehicle suddenly collided in front of 8037 Fair Oaks Boulevard, reports indicated. The collision threw the rider from the motorcycle, leaving them with serious injuries.
At approximately 1:11 p.m., 911 calls began coming in about an accident involving a motorcycle. The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist lying on the ground with serious injuries. Paramedics rushed to the rider’s side and began medical treatment. The rider was placed on a stretcher and carefully loaded into an ambulance. Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital to receive emergency treatment.
Officers spoke with the drivers of the other two vehicles involved as well as witnesses at the scene.
