Malibu, CA (March 15, 2024) The Pacific Coast Highway was the backdrop for a deadly collision that claimed one woman’s life and left two others injured. It was about 9:30 p.m. in Malibu when a car went off the PCH and crashed into the beach parking lot, officers said. She collided with another car at some point during this collision and injured the two people inside. The driver who went off the highway, sadly, didn’t survive.
Initial investigations indicated that the woman was driving a small car in the 3600 block of West Pacific Coast Highway on the night of March 14th. At the intersection of Mulholland Drive, she swerved off the highway for reasons unknown. She slammed into a parked vehicle that had two occupants inside before crashing into the parking lot of the local beach.

The 911 call came in and the Los Angeles County Fire Department hurried to the scene. They found the woman with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to those injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
