Stockton, CA (February 19, 2024) A woman lost her life on Saturday, February 17th, when the vehicle she was in collided with another vehicle in Weber Square. The fatal accident took place on W. Fremont Street in Stockton at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The victim was in the back seat of a vehicle heading east on W. Fremont Street when, for reasons still unknown, they crashed into another vehicle. The woman, age 44, sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision.
The Stockton Police Department arrived at the scene with paramedics and found the woman in the back seat with critical injuries. They carefully removed her from the car and rushed her to a nearby hospital via ambulance for treatment. Emergency medical personnel did everything they could, but the woman’s injuries were too severe. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police officers are investigating this fatal collision to determine what caused it and who was at fault. At this time, there has been no word on whether alcohol or drugs were factors in this Weber Square crash.
