Jurupa Valley, CA (December 11, 2023) Emilio Jimenez, 24, was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Jurupa Valley on Saturday, December 9th. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said the accident occurred just before 11:00 p.m. on Van Buren Boulevard, not far from 56th Street. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene following the accident.

The vehicle was driving south on Van Buren Boulevard when it struck Jimenez. It then fled off, leaving Emilio Jimenez lying in the road with fatal injuries. Officers at the scene said that Jimenez died within minutes of being hit and was gone by the time emergency crews arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
