Rowland Heights, CA (November 2023) A skateboarder was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday afternoon, November 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The fatal accident happened around 1:18 p.m. at the intersection of Paso Real Avenue and Colima Road.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the victim lying in the road, the skateboard resting at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, following the fatal crash.

Paramedics arrived, ready to help the skateboarder, but instead they found the victim already deceased. They were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, according to authorities. The medical examiner was called to the scene and the skateboarder’s identity has not been released. It is pending notification of the victim’s family.
Officers began investigating the scene to try and determine what caused this fatal accident and who was at fault. This investigation is ongoing and no other details are available at this time.
